Who We Are
One of the cures for a homesick soul is a delicious tiffin made by mom, isn't it? As children who used to wake up to the sizzle of dosas, we could not find batter that replicated the taste of the traditional homemade tiffin.
A small idea germinated in our minds. We knew how to prepare the perfect batter (thanks Amma!), and we had expertise in logistics and supply chain.
Where It all began
So what did we do, you ask? We decided to bring the taste of perfectly prepared tiffins to everyone. In 1997, with humble beginnings, we started our quest to deliver Thaayar batter to residential areas in Chennai. We began by gathering quality ingredients, sorting, and grinding using traditional wet grinders.
The 25-Year Legacy Continues...
From delivering batter in bicycles to delivering in a fleet of vehicles, our expertise in the supply chain, logistics, and food manufacturing industry has helped us scale to newer heights. Every year, we've reached bigger and bigger milestones. In 2022, we redesigned our packaging to encourage no-spill during distribution by introducing a semi-automatic double-packaging of the finished batter.
Soon, we're going to start delivering batter in e-vehicles as part of our efforts to go green.
